One thing we can all count on during the Autumn season is that pumpkin spice lattes will be everywhere. Whether you are a PSL lover or not, I hope that you enjoy this recipe by Dr. Axe for a healthy alternative. And, before we get into the recipe, I just want to point out that even though this recipe has bone broth in it, it doesn't mean that it tastes weird. This type of bone broth is tasteless and is extremely great for building healthy hair, skin, and nails. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
Pumpkin Spice Latte with Vanilla Bone Broth Protein
Ingredients:
1/2 cup coconut, almond milk, or whole milk (add more or less to suit your taste)
10-ounces strong brewed coffee, hot
1 Tablespoon coconut oil
2 Tablespoons pumpkin puree
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice + more for serving, if desired
Cinnamon, as desired
1 scoop Bone Broth Protein Vanilla
Coconut whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
In a small saucepan, heat the milk until hot and bubbly.
Transfer to a blender and add in the hot coffee, pumpkin puree, coconut oil, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and Bone Broth Protein. Blend for 30-60 seconds until fully combined.
Serve right away, with coconut whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!
