As easy as it might seem, setting aside an hour a day to have time to yourself is not the simplest of actions. Sometimes things come up whether it be work, family obligation, or last-minute changes to your regular schedule, that can keep you from enjoying an hour to yourself. However, in spite of this, having quiet time on a daily basis is important for your health.
Having time to rest in solitude for an hour or so each day gives you time to unwind, forces you to breathe deep, helps you regain focus, and increases creativity. Setting aside that hour a day to be silent is excellent and almost as essential as being physically active.
I encourage you to try and build in that quiet time this week.
