My goodness, I'm tired! I went to my first bachlorette party yesterday and we've got only 5 days until my dear friend's wedding. It's going to be a busy week with wedding prep and teaching. Anyway, I hope you are having a wonderful Monday so far.
I think that the best way to prepare yourself for a good day is by eating a good breakfast. You know what makes breakfast even more enjoyable? Making it the night before and grabbing it out of the fridge in the morning. That's why I'm sharing a delicious overnight oats recipe with you to keep your mornings as stress-free as possible. Enjoy!
Vanilla Strawberry Overnight Oats
Recipe is from Savory Nothings
Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup whole milk
2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
1 cup rolled oats
1 Tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
6-8 chopped strawberries, plus extra for topping
Directions:
Stir all of the ingredients together very well.
Divide between jars and cover.
Refrigerate overnight, then serve cold, topped with extra strawberries.
Now go and tackle that work day!
