So today is the day. The day where love can be found all around you. My brother and I are here spending this holiday together, as we are both single and hermits. It's been a pretty fun holiday so far, however! Our parents sent us a package of assorted, chocolate-covered cookies, chocolate-covered strawberries, and tulips. We've also been watching a lot of TV and I finally got to see the figure skating last night on the Olympics.
Last night, we ate our strawberries and made homemade strawberry daiquiris, which were delicious. Today, we'll probably hang out. I'll watch romantic movies and he'll probably not join me ;). Then, to top it all off, I have to teach some choreography at the theater tonight (in case you didn't know, I'm choreographing Hello Dolly! for our community theater production).
I'd say it's been a pretty successful holiday this year. Now I've got to work on eating healthier and exercising to get rid of the sugar overload in my body. I also have to start boosting my immune system because it's flu season and half the people I work with are sick. Lovely!
Be sure to check back on Friday for a post on how to avoid flu season! It's a lot easier than you think.
I hope all of you have had a wonderful Valentine's day so far! Let me know in the comments what you favorite part of your celebrating was.
Until next time lovelies,
Amanda
