I came across this inspiring post on Dance Magazine's blog that encourages dancers who are different and don't exactly fit into the "perfect" ballerina mold. Kosta Karakashyan did a wonderful job putting things into perspective. Because dance is constantly changing and evolving, this mold that dancers are put into is beginning to grow, allowing dancers of all shapes, sizes, and even ethnicity to dance professionally.
